I am feeling blessed with the fact my children adjusted to the clocks going back very well.....it may of helped that I put them to bed later, but I still feel blessed.

My two year old Daughter Dakota, had been awake for a while but was happy in her room. I later found out why, she had stripped out of her onesie, ripped pages out of a book and shit in her bed. (Over the top of her nappy).

Good Morning mummy, we then went downstairs, once I had changed her and the bed of course, where I made breakfast for us all. Full English, yes please!

Jacob, my seven year old son, then helped me clear up the kitchen to commence the pumpkin carving mwhahaha.

I managed to get all three pumpkins ready for carving, saving the insides ready for our pumpkin curry tomorrow. Jacob asked for help cutting the top, and bless his heart he tried to scoop out the seeds, then surrendered and requested help with that also.

Once they were ready to go I made a start on my pumpkin, with Jacob watching me, once I had put down one tool to exchange for the mini saw, he picked it up and started his Maui hook. He finished his pumpkin by himself, not that he had a choice, it was that or wait for mummy to finish her pumpkin.

I know, I know I just got in the creative zone, Jacob was happy outlining his pattern. I then moved onto Dakota’s at this point, only as mid way through my creation she appeared.

Sticking a stencil on her pumpkin, she then proceeded by scribbling over the pumpkin, some in and outside of the stencil. She then requested I draw around her hand. I thought this would be a nice touch.

I resumed to ignoring the kids while I finished my pumpkin, I say ignoring them, they were safe and my partner was around....on his phone.....somewhere!?

I am super proud of Jacob and his carving skills, artist is the making!

Knowing what I wanted to do on the pumpkin was easy......finding a picture that will work, is a different story.

TIP: I found googling silhouette pictures helpful, although don’t forget to link the parts that need to be left.

For example the A in Moana is hanging on in there, as I almost went all the way round it.

Happy Carving & Happy Halloween, hope you all have a good day

Love & Light to you all
