Relaxing Sunday........maybe not?

Sunday never seems to be a day of rest as a parent especially when one or even both children are having a growth spurt and asking for food what feels like every five blinking seconds, and yes I do feed my children.

Today I planned to bake brownies with both munchkins, neither of them seemed interested so I was left to do the baking by myself while they drew on my son’s bedroom walls, thanks guys.

Luckily for them it needs decorating, but that is still not the point. Telling my partner about their mischief his response was ‘don’t let them do that’, yes honey, that’s what I did, I let them draw on the wall....but wait what was he doing to stop this, oh yes, that’s right, playing an online game! Cheers love.

I then was tasked with popping to the shop where I spotted a Moana Magazine with...wait for it, a straw skirt and flower hair clip. Knowing how much she loves Moana I just had to buy it.

Although I couldn’t just get one of the little minions a magazine, for my son I picked a Halloween special. Feeling pleased with my finds I knew the kids would be excited with their goodies and I was right.

It did put a smile on all our faces in the house with my daughter dressed as Moana and my son chasing her wearing Frankenstein’s bolts on his head and vampire fangs in his mouth. Thank you Disney for making my daughters day, she absolutely loves her Moana dress up.

After a day of doing chores (with help from my son cleaning out my car and raking the leaves in the garden and my daughter helping me to clean out the fire place) they sat down to watch Moana.....AGAIN! It has got to the point where I now know Maui’s rap!

This gave me a chance carry on with, you guessed it, more housework.....it never ends does it?
